Stop Foreclosure FAQ

1. Are you really an undercover real estate investor?

Not at all, we do exactly what we say we do, which is help you stay in your home through a number of different programs and solutions that does not include buying your home.

2. Do you loan money to help your clients pay their delinquent mortgage payments?

We don’t believe that throwing more money at a money problem is the solution to resolving a foreclosure or delinquent mortgage. Although to some it may seem like a really great idea, but this actually makes the situation worse by increasing your expenses which is the opposite of what most people need.

3. Can you help every homeowner, regardless of their situation?

Unfortunately, there is a small percentage of the population that we’re unable to directly help. What we will always do is to advise you upfront and make recommendations of other solutions.

4. Can you assist me with keeping my home even if my foreclosure is tomorrow?

In several of our success stories, we have assisted some of our clients with keeping their homes through negotiation with their mortgage companies with a pending foreclosure scheduled on the same day.

5. Can you help me if I’ve previously filed bankruptcy?

Filing bankruptcy has absolutely no bearing on whether we can help you or not. Even if you’ve previously filed a Chapter 7, we still may be able to assist you.

6. How can you help me when my mortgage company says that there is nothing that can be done other than to pay everything you owe?

Every company has people that are bad apples or untruthful. Some mortgage company counselors use intimidation and have been even known to lie to a homeowner and lead them to believe no options to foreclosure are available.

Having assisted thousands of homeowners over the years, we have assisted many people that were told by their mortgage company that no options were available.

7. Why do I need your service, can’t I just resolve it with my mortgage company myself?

Think about this, when you bought the home that is now behind on mortgage payments, didn’t you use a realtor? Done any home improvement? You probably used a contractor. How about visited a doctor, dentist or lawyer lately? These are all cases where you could have done it yourself, but chose to utilize a qualified professional.

Why? You figured out in the long run, it would have cost you more money had you done it yourself through the mistakes you would probably make and the time you would have invested. We have literally hundreds of clients that have first tried it on their own, and quickly found out that it was not as easy as they thought.

The years of experience, education and expertise are priceless in protecting what will be for most people the most valuable asset they will ever own, which is their home.

8. Why should I pay for your services when there are agencies that can help me for free?

I’m sure you’ve heard it as many times as we have, you get what you pay for. There are a number of non-profit agencies that can provide you with assistance at stopping your foreclosure. The one thing they all lack however, is our unique ability to analyze why your setback really occurred, the on-going mortgage and financial assistance as well as our industry first ability to prevent further foreclosures from occurring.

9. Why should we contact you if we’re thinking about selling our home?

Many people realize that because their financial situation has changed, selling the house may be the best possible solution. Depending on what stage of the delinquency or foreclosure is, there may not be enough time to sell your home. In those cases, you’ll need more time.

We’ve assisted many homeowners, real estate agents and investors with negotiating more time with the mortgage company that will allow the sale to take place.

Some mortgage companies can be very inflexible in stopping or postponing a foreclosure sale when a homeowner has decided to sell their homes to prevent a foreclosure from occurring.

This has happened because countless times they were told by the homeowner they were going to sell their homes, and the mortgage company would stop the sale. Once that was done, the homeowner would at the last minute change their mind.

When this occurs, it causes the mortgage company more out of pocket expenses and lost time.
